Synephrine can be used as a blood pressure booster, for shock, for heart failure, for the treatment of bronchial asthma and surgery and anesthesia, bottom blood pressure, collapse and shock, body and postural hypotension, etc.; α-adrenergic receptor agonist, Vasoconstrictors, etc.
1. The effect on cardiovascular
Citrus aurantium, Citrus aurantium decoction, Citrus aurantium extract, Citrus aurantium injection and intravenous injection of synephrine hydrochloride of its active ingredients can significantly enhance a variety of myocardial contractility and pumping function indexes in anesthetized dogs. It strengthens the heart, constricts blood vessels, increases total peripheral resistance, and increases left ventricular pressure and arterial blood pressure. Modern studies have also confirmed that Fructus Aurantii can increase rabbit aortic tension and contract aortic smooth muscle in a concentration-dependent manner.
2. The effect on weight loss
Synephrine hydrochloride is used as a weight loss promoter, and its mechanism of action is to stimulate β-3 adrenergic receptors to cause lipid breakdown and subsequent thermogenesis.
